Default Eclipse 2017

Going to an eclipse viewing party tomorrow?
School is out tomorrow as well as many businesses. We're in the zone of totality, my hone town is going crazy.

Even though we didn't get 100% cover, people went nuts here. Many schools canceled class, since it was feared that children would look at the sun without protection. Really? What do you think they're going to do at home if they don't have the blackout glasses?

Where we watched it it was "dark" for 2 minutes 41 seconds. I was told dead in the middle was 2 minutes 45 seconds. Most schools around here let out for the day. My grandkids didn't want to stay still and watch through their eclipse glasses so we made it a game and the watched most of it. It turned into being a long day, I was very tired by the time we got home.
