AFPheonix, I agree that it's extremely unlikely, just pointing out that was the only scenario I saw the could possibly lead to a civil war and wanted to see if anyone could think of a different scenario that would lead to war.
War will come when resources are harder to come by. When we as a country are running low on energy and water, then there may be some rumbles of discontent.
The election of a major party candidate? I don't think so.
