Oh fuck that. You NEVER touch someone elses work unless you know they have an extra copy, AND you have permission.

I fucking tore him a new one after I saw what he did, and since I didn't tell him it was anywhere remotely NEAR ok for him to do that I made him put it back to exactly the way I had it. I was at his house for close to 4 hours just for that, and I didn't speak to him for about a month afterwords I was so pissed.

        I don't view sex as pornographic in the least . . . it's a biological need.

That said, and yes I've had more than some over the years - maybe not as much as some others, but definitely had some interesting encounters.

When it comes to writing about it, I do admit I get tickled as Hell when trying to read some of these "romance" books. I've also been known to write a few scenes myself into some of my stories.

Which, I try to write a scene exactly how I see it in my mind . . . blow by blow, play by play, I like to use all kinds of things as inspiration - either my own previous experiences, or what I see online or in films or read from books, or any combination thereof . . . I just let my mind run off without a leash, so to speak and see what comes out of it.

As to whether a sex scene figures into the story or not, I don't worry about it . . . I can write one outside of a story.

And yes, I will get the giggles when I'm writing a scene. Don't ask why, I'm just wired that way.

          You and me, both.

Which made the one story I was working on a few years back that was nothing but sex scenes an interesting exercise.

Defecating is a biological need, too, but most people (outside of those who somehow find it sexy) don't want to read the details of a trip to the bathroom in the middle of a story.

well that's because that's not erotic, while sexual/sensual based things are. But I'm of the school of thought that out and out body slapping/hard pumping whatever is trashy porn and not interesting to read. While slow erotic descriptions are way more interesting.

It is a biological need and it gets old when it hasn't happened in 2 and 1/2 years .

I wonder which is worse: 2.5 years, or never?

Considering that never means you don't actually know what you're missing, I suspect it's physiologically more difficult for someone who's had it.

Psychologically, however, is completely dependent upon the individual.

                        physiologically it SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS.
sex addict. never gets laid. shoot me. lol.
never VS a years-span probably depends on the individual. some people don't have high sex drives and are fine with long spans of time or wouldnt care about how long it took to lose their virginity. people with high sex drives, it bites. either way.

to the OT: there are tons of trashy novels, or even regular novels with small trashy bits, that have aggressive fucking other than lovemaking tenderness. i don't think i've ever bought one that didnt have some variation of the throw-over-desk-and-pound theme. lol.

Is 'shoot' really the right word?

                          Rapscallion, curious

Yeah you get used to it but sometimes it really really really sucks cause I get tired of it. If I wasn't in a relationship that would be one thing. But to be in a relationship and forced to live this way is not fair.

PREACH IT! that sucks so bad. :/
it's like, you want to respect your partner and their desires. but when their desires are lower than yours, it's insanely frustrating.
i mean, you can have long lasting relationships and have it not be about the sex. people have been doing it for eons. but frigg it can make things difficult sometimes.
