Oh, yeah, regular exercise helps a lot.

Right after I moved into an upstairs apartment, there was enough of a difference for me to notice (I'm pretty sedentary, otherwise).

This last time around, I took some Midol I have left over from a muscle issue I seem to get in my neck every so often. It helped with both making my cramps less irritating, and making my sinuses not bother me as much. Yay for anti-inflammatories.

From what I recall, blas works out rather regularly unless I'm mistaken.

        That I do.

This week has been better, but I've had a few little twinges here and there. I'm just hoping none of those cramps from this time last week return. If they come back in a month, I'll know it's a hormonal thing related to my Pill.

I am over 40 years old and didn't until this week realize that certain formulas of midol and pamprin contrain an antihistimine in them.

Go ahead and laugh, ladies. I felt completely stupid!

After all these years, I finally wondered why I get so freakin' tired when I take them sometimes. The particular formula I had bought recently (Im a coupon person) contained antihistimine. Not sure how much, but enough to make me really drowsy.

I snatched up another bottle in my closet, which was excedrin menstrual, and it does NOT have antihistimine in it.

Yeah, I'll be reading those labels a little more carefully from now on.

That...explains a lot. I wonder just how many women don't know that? I sure didn't.

I'm sort of surprised that so many people don't actually read what's in their medications before taking them.

I won't even take prescription meds until I've looked up what they do online.

I always read what's in my medication before taking it for the first time. It's a good thing I do too, because someone once suggested I get Excedrin for my migraines, and it has caffeine in it, for me (and a lot of migraine sufferers) caffeine is a major trigger for migraines.

I didn't know that midol and pamprin have an antihistamine in them though, but then, I've never taken either.Extra strength Advil gel caps are my friend, they work to dull my migraines and cramps.

I don't think it's all the formulas of midol and pamprin, but the one I took, definitely.

Good lesson for me, I'm going to be much more careful about reading labels from now on. For sure!
