3 Wishes?

What would you wish for?

One idea I always had for if I ever found a genie lamp: I frequently see in movies and other media that someone gets 3 wishes, and winds up getting screwed over by his wishes because the genie is an asshole. so I'd use one wish asking that he grant my wishes as i intend them, and not as he interprets them. I wonder if that would work...

Something like that: 1)best possible interpretation of wishes with clarifying questions asked if needed; 2) let me know of any necessary negative consequences so I can alter the wish before implementation; and 3) (after a reasonable delay) here, make the rest of my life match this story I've written

I believe that's typically a no. More wishes would be awesome though. Except it could backfire on you. Get cut off in traffic "Man I wish that guy would just drop dead".

$100 million - You know, people say money can't buy happiness. I think they are crazy. With $100 million, I could buy a few cars that I want. That'd make me pretty fucking happy.

Free plane trips whenever and wherever I want. I love travelling.

The ability to gain or lose fat/muscle wherever on my body I want. Goodbye gut.

1: Make this and next two wishes I make go as I intended them and not how you, the universe or any other outside force other then my own will wants them.

2: Perfect, fast and unconfusing, non-declining memory that I will never lose regardless of what happens to me.

3: The ability to touch any book, magazine, or source of information and with a mental command word, completely memorize and understand with clarity all the contents in that source of informatation forever more and never to be lost all in six seconds.


I would then go to every single libary I can get to and start becoming the world's smartest creature.

I like the idea of making sure that your wishes go exactly as you intend, so probably that.

I'd wish for perfect health for me and my loved ones, so we'd all be fit, and not get sick.

I'd also wish for the ability to pay for anything, bills, fun stuff, anything by having the exact amount magically available to me whenever I want it to be. I'd just think of an amount and it would be in my pocket or my bank account (whichever is more appropriate)


I wonder if wishing for more wish granting genies is out of the question?

The book one reminded me of another one: I would wish for the ability to "go inside" any work of fiction, whether it's a movie, a tv show, a book, a video game, or just something a kid made up.

Just for fun, you could go to australia and be like "hey guys, don't get on that plane, or it will be the most confusing and unfulfilled 6 years of your life."

The top wish on my list is for the ability to communicate readily with any sentient being with there being no misunderstandings about meaning and intent between us.

My second wish would be for a clean bill of health until my death, whenever that should come to pass. (I'm not so worried about jerkass genies).

For my third... hard to say... maybe something like having all breakthroughs and studies that have been kept secret to the detriment of society being released to the world at large through means untraceable back to their source(s).

You really gotta be careful with jerkass genies. You could wish to have a million dollars, and lo and behold 1 million dollar bills will show up in your living room. And you didn't say american dollars, so its some other country that uses dollars and they have a really shitty exchange rate so you wind up with like 80 bucks.

Not to mention that if you just wish for cash, at some point you have to explain where it came from. I think i'd wish that every powerball ticket i bought would be the jackpot winner.
