3 Wishes?

Wish One: Have a photographic memory. If it works the way I think it works, than I can probably build most potential wishes off of that (such as learning languages, including both human and computer).
Wish Two: Will decide on later because honestly the first is always the one that comes formost to mind.
Wish Three: The ever classic more witches!! Er, I mean, more wishes. Maybe. ^_^

Going to assume for the sake of it being hypothetical that my wishes will be granted exactly as I wish them.

Wish 1 ) Wish to be 15 again just starting out High School.

Wish 2 ) my parents even though they move us let me attend the High school for our old neighborhood so I don't have to leave my friends (we only moved across the river)

Wish 3 ) That even though my life didn't go the same way my daughter (the one I have) would still be my first child so that she wouldn't be erased by my first wish.

To be in perfect shape and health for as long as I choose to live.
To be able to read minds and manipulate them if I want to.

I would use the last one to become famous worldwide. Got an addiction you want to get rid of? I can get into your head and make it go away without hurting you. Too shy? An easy session with me and you will be as brave as a lion. Mental issues? Wiped clean my friend. Dr. Chris will gladly help free you from your issues.

well, if its the happy disney genie type, then:
1) to win the lottery of my choice (with proper budgeting it can last a lifetime), and to be able to claim the winnings without hassle from OLG
2) physical and mental health for me and my loved ones.
3) long-distance instantaneous teleportation abilities without side effects.

now if it was a jinn, then i would only make one wish, that i had never found the bottle in the first place. i learned my lesson, Wishmaster movie! :P

Sometimes I think about my genie wishes and get all nervous that he'd screw me on every single one.

Like..."I wish I was thin and in shape!"

That would drive you insane, actually >.> The brain naturally tries to preserve your sanity by intentionally forgetting unpleasant things over time ( This is why older people wax on about "The Good Ol' Days", its because their brains have tossed the bad memories. ). The moment something traumatic happened to you, it would stay fresh in your mind like it had just happened for the rest of your life. Till you were an emotional wreck.


As for me: I'd like a modestly sized, self maintaining space ship I can control with my mind that maintains my health and sanity via some sort of elaborate nanotechnology while allowing me to continue to evolve ( You don't want to be immortal and have the rest of the human race evolve past you >.> ). It should be neigh invunerable to anything short of diving into a black hole, capable of faster than light travel and be able to comfortable maintain a small crew indefinately by generating oxygen and growing food. It should also have sufficient gravity to avoid all those pesky space travel side effects. It should also have a host of advanced precision sensors and instruments, along with suitable lab space.

Then I would assemble an international team of scientists and we would frollic amongst the universe. Because if I'm going to live forever, I want something fucking awesome to do that will take an eternity to finish. ;p

If we don't have to worry about the wishes being twisted...

1. A device that reverses pollution and produces a universal energy source usable by any other device from said pollution.

2. I wish I would have access to a planet exactly like earth without humans, with the ability to grant or revoke access to others at will. Should I die of unnatural causes all access is immediately revoked for all others.

3. That my life would be exactly what is written by me in a notebook of my choice.

If we would have to worry about the wishes being twisted.. change no 1 to the wish where all my wishes would be as I intended them, the other two would be the same.

Cause I think owning my own whole world would be AWESOME!

Actually it could be rather boring unless you specified that it would likewise have the same buildings and technology as Earth and picked up TV signals and WIFI from Earth.

Also genies are dicks and he'd probably give you Earth circa 3 billion years ago or something. ( Stupid genies ).

Which is why I said if we didn't have to worry about twisting, and in the scenario we do I made sure it would be my interpretation that was used.

As for the other world, no, don't want the buildings/etc from this world want it pretty pristine at least at first .. see I can always allow a construction company through to build me something. Make a deal with the suppliers to supply them goods in exchange for giving the construction company exactly what was needed..ect until I didn't even have to pay for it . Think about it..whenever I wanted to be alone, just step onto a beach in that world..and relax *laughs*. Money would not be a problem, sell the rights to retrieve resources from the second world, rent (not sell) land for living, etc. It would be epic.

*laughs* Yes animals will not be scared of people (never having encountered them) so fending off wild animals would be something to think about. I'll stick to near the beach probably. Only go in shallow water (no sharks hehe). Knowing me, since I am so nice..the world would be populated in no time. Maybe build a commune or something *shrugs*.

How about a first wish, not just that the genie would grant the wishes as you intend them, but rather that he will be actively cooperative, letting you talk through exactly what you want, point out potential problems you hadn't considered, suggest good alternatives, ways of getting as much of what you want as possible into the wishes allowed, etc.?

(I'd have to apologize first and explain about the stories, because of course if you're competent and not evil, it's more than a little insulting to be treated as if you are, especially to the point of "wasting" a wish on it.)
