  • (GROSS WARNING) Weird dream - where the fuck did this shit come from? (GROSS WARNING)

Seriously.... what the fuck is wrong with my imagination.

Warning... this is going to be sick and gross. which is why it's here and not at the main site.

I had an odd dream the other day. I don't remember much except my bf and I had to kill off someone who was attacking us.

The next part I remember was watching my BF cooking pork on large fire, with the meat dripping fat down. I think it was on a furnace fire actually. The meat smelled good.

well... until I turned around and saw in the back of the furnace... the inside of two human torsos with their ribs clearly visible. I think one of them was the attacker we had to kill. The other one may have been a female.

After that I was scared, not knowing how we could dispose of the bodies. He suggested burning them in the furnace (maybe they'd rolled off before?) That wouldn't do I said though... the police would still find it. Even worse was his idea to just put them in the dumpster, saying we wouldn't be caught because we shred anything that has our name or address on it. ... which was true, we do shred that. But still I didn't like that idea either.

Then I woke up soon after.... somewhat wondering why I'd have a dream with such vivid dead bodies in it. O_o

I've had dreams like that before; they don't really bother me. I know that a lot of the time it's cuz I've been reading books on murder or something similar. I've even had cannabilistic dreams before, as well as dreams that I'm a murderer or a predatory animal.

I've had dreams about having to fend off attackers before, but I've never had dreams about being a predator, murderer, or anything of that nature. I do have some strange dreams, though. I have a lot of dreams about being attacked by someone or something dark and evil, and having to defend myself or others. The dreams often do force me awake, but they don't actually scare me. I may sometimes wake up fighting, but often I just wake up wondering why I had such a vivid dream.

I also have a lot of dreams which are not bad, but they just make no sense whatsoever. I wake up feeling confused and disoriented. I may think about what I can remember as I wake up, but I just can't remember enough of the dream to make sense of it. The best way I can describe it is as if I was in some kind of alternate reality.

I attribute a lot of these dreams to a rather vivid imagination because I love sci-fi, fantasy, and horror. I keep telling myself I need to write them down so I can use them for story ideas, but I never have.

I've killed and hurt people many a time in my dreams, once I executed a few mobsters of numerous factions (triad, yakuza stereotypical sicillian mobsters etc) who were having some get together, one I killed with what seemed like knitting needles.

I woke up very rested and contented after that killing spree.

I've also kicked the shit out of a few ASBO kids in dreams, not people I knew and had beef with IRL, just in the dream I reached breaking point and thought "Fuck them being children, I'm gonna put em in hospital." and I did.

I also hardly ever dream as myself; I'm nearly always someone else. I also taught myself how to lucid dream back when I was a teen and if I do end up in a nightmare, I can either wake myself up or change the dream to something better.

When I was pregnant I dreamed I stabbed Ozzy Osborne to death with my car keys. I called my dad and told him, and he offered to help me cover it up. Like any good dad should.

I don't recall ever killing anyone else in my dreams though. And I don't have any particular beef with Ozzy either, so I don't know why him. My husband likes metal though so he was probably on a Black Sabbath kick or something and had just been talking about them a lot.

Man Ginger Tea, you're like the Punisher or something!

Well the weird part was ... it wasn't actually a nightmare. When I awoke I was relieved that I didn't have to find a way to dispose of the bodies but... I wasn't scared.

For me... a bad dream might be more like... a demon trying to possess me or something like that.

Or when I was dreaming that I was at work and kept waking up every minute. .. seriously, that is to me worse than dreaming about seeing the inside of a human ribcage. perhaps because i end up not sleeping well.

go figure. if it's some kind of story, I'm OK. Even last night's dream where I had to kill someone who looked like Agent Coulson - forced him off a cliff... as long as it's some kind of story it's OK. But if it's something where I can't control it (even the torso dream I had some control over) then it's worse for me

Yeah I had a weird dream last night that I think would piss the gf off. Not only did I bang her ex-friend in this dream for some reason my old boss was there and she taught me a few things, and then my ex showed up because I love pierced nipples... I don't know what would be more disturbing the fact I had this dream or that the GF was also there in it. I was kind of sad to wake up.

I was also being chased at some point I think but yeah lol I think I focused on remembering the best part.

It is weird some nights if I get the right combination of previous sleep deprivation, I have very vivid and wild dreams that almost seem real and for a point after I wake up I wonder did it actually happen.

I had a dream almost a year ago, where people at work were being paired off (not that I saw this happening) and one supervisor had paired me with one girl who is seriously skinny and our 'pairing' were to do the doggy style of the Kama sutra, seeing her naked, then bending over like that, I was physically sick over her back side (peanuts and nothing but peanuts).

I woke up very disturbed by this dream and could not look at her for weeks without feeling queasy and I had no sexual desires for even longer.

One dream that freaked me out when I was thirteen was one that seemed so real. I didn't realise I was dreaming til I woke up (this was before I taught myself to lucid dream).

I dreamed I was a maid in a big house and after I'd served breakfast, I was told to go upstairs and fetch the master, who hadn't come down for breakfast. I searched over the whole top floor then went into his room. I looked in the wardrobe and he was there, hanging from a hook. I screamed, ran downstairs then clutched someone else and screamed til I woke up.

Doesn't sound like much, but it frightened me a hell of a lot at the time.

Funny thing... I almost never have scary or creepy dreams. But after reading this thread last night, I dreamt I was eating spider legs by the spoonful. Actually only one heaping spoonful. With milk. You know the kind of shredded wheat that you have to crumble up? It was sort of like that and sort of like pine straw. Only, well, you know.

It was worse than it sounds. And I don't even have any context for it: I don't remember what I was dreaming immediately before that, and it woke me up. So *why* I was eating them I don't know, only that in the dream it seemed vitally important that I do so, and not let on that I didn't like it.

*does her very best to quash her oh-so-vivid imagination*

I'm... not sure I'm going to be able to keep my dessert after that... why, oh why, does my mind insist on providing me with vivid imaginings of the sounds and textures involved in such a dream?

                          *sob*

                            Oh, jesus.

I could handle everything in this thread up until this.

Also, I've been watching the playthrough for Amnesia: The Dark Descent on Youtube (because my computer won't let me play it )...I've yet to experience any bad dreams from it yet, but..well..it's a damn scary game so we'll see.

My dreams are usually pretty strange as well. Last night I, for some reason, was a tyrannosaur. A real life dinosaur. I was walking around and doing typical dinosaur things. Then I remember trying to find a mate.
It was kind of funny. I got all panicky because she expected me to catch her a large dangerous prey item. And if I didn't, she wouldn't let me mate with her.
In my defense, I have been watching too many dinosaur shows lately.
