I have strange dreams as well. Common for me are dreams where I open my mouth to scream and nothing comes out, and I'm screaming because someone is after me. I once dreamed that I walked into my room, my mother was standing inside, and she turned into a monster. I had one dream in which I was walking on an air mattress--and I woke up walking on my actual bed, about to walk right off of it! If anyone wants to research the (possible...not saying it's fact) meanings of their dreams, check this website out:

      ^ this.

I did recently have a dream where I was murdered by a coworker, came back as a zombie, went to her apartment and ate her. Well. Some of her. I mean, how much of a person can you really fit into your stomach? I got about half of one leg, as a recall, and it was delicious.

XD The not dreaming as myself thing seems to be not very common; most people I talk to say they dream as themselves.

I had an other dream a few nights ago; I get these a lot. In it I'm either a shapeshifter, and I dream of changing into an animal form; or I dream that I'm actually the animal. A lot of the time I dream about hunting prey; yes, humans too. XD

In dreams, I can 'push' off my skin and I'm a new person underneath.

Interesting! I do a lot of both; sometimes I'm me, but other times I'll dream a story and, within that story, be sometimes one character and sometimes another. Often with a sense of watching a rerun, even though it's not, and therefore knowing what will happen next, even though it doesn't. The aggravating thing is that if, in a dream, I "remember" something as having happened outside the dream, it sometimes happens that I have a hard time separating *that* memory, though not the rest of the dream, from reality after I wake up. No, that doesn't make sense, and no, I cannot explain it any better.
