All of that said, GK's idea rocks and I'd love to see something like that myself.

We were huge on M:TG on the tail end of high school when the first big craze of it hit. But we were also horrible D&D nerds. As the DM, I ended up coming up with an alarming number of ways to use M:TG rules in an RPG context. Was quite a bit more fun than it had any right to be.

I still have all my cards too. Though I haven't opened the card box in like 10 years. They're probably worth a fortune at this point as 95% of them are from the mid 90s. >.>

I don't recall how the sets went exactly. Alpha, Beta, Unlimited, Revised, 4th edition....and whatever came after that? I don't know I stopped collecting just after Revised. Most of my cards are Revised I think, with a handful of Unlimited.

I probably don't have any $400 cards, but I'm sure I have a sheer volume of $5-$20 cards. -.-

No clue what happened to my cards, bough over 2000 cards from a person who needed money for about $400, included an alpha black lotus (at the time it was not worth as much as it is now..nowhere near in fact). It was a great deal, even if a great majority were lands. They either are here somewhere, or been stolen..I turned the place upside down looking for my 3 nintendo ds 'consoles' (no idea if they are called that or not *shrugs*) My nephew has sticky hands..so he probably sold them and they are long gone. If I could prove he was the one who took all of it .. would be one thing.
