Naturally... biologically, sex is about procreation... so, the more you can have sex, the more likely you will continue the species... so, the body gears up for it.

OTOH, if you're not in that situation, the body will shut down, so not to waste the opportunities that might come later... hence, less sex drive.

Sometimes I don't feel like doing it; my fiance understands. He did use to sulk back when we were in our twenties and I said no for whatever reason, but now he's matured and understands that sometimes I just don't feel like it.

One thing that stops me feeling like it is being on my period. I know that guys make jokes about "off games week" and say, "Well, she can always jerk me off or something" but when I'm cramping or have a splitting headache, well, all I want to do is curl up with a hot water bottle. I don't want to do anything.

I didn't want to stereotype in general, as I know more mature guys (not saying age, just maturity here, though age can play a role if you're experienced in your years) are a lot more, well, mature about sex and are able to control their second head better than others.

I don't know if it's a guilt tool or what. It just pisses me off.

That, and being treated like a cocktease, merely just by existing, pisses me off as well. I'm not purposely denying you sex and waltzing around naked. I sleep in my bra and undies. I will still sleep that way even if we don't do anything. Just because I'm wearing a low cut shirt (as I almost always do when I'm off work), and we didn't do it last night, doesn't mean I'm "torturing" you today. Learn some damn control.

I was the one that said no, she felt ugly even though it wasn't the reason. Before we had a huge sex drive. But that was me actually "losing my virginity" (will never be with a guy). AFter a while, sex was every once in a while. Once a week, maybe a few times a month. SHe didn't like that. Sex to me isn't a major part of the relationship. She could never compromise. So here I am single, for almost a year. I miss having the physical attention I got, but not ready to find someone new.

Oh, you betcha I regret it, too. I got wrapped up in the fact that all of my friends had already been having sex for a while, with multiple people. I shouldn't have been so damn retarded.

My roomates (stupidly enough the ex and her hubby now) are way too horny to wait till shes done with her period. I don't even want to think about scratching my back let alone have someone screw me. I feel too gross on my period, leave my body alone. To each their own I guess.

I don't regret losing my virginity, but that's probably because I have a lot of self-control and tend overthink things. Being female and due to my personal preferences, my main thought was "If contraceptives fail, would I be willing to have this guy in my life for a minimum of 18 years?"

Most of my friends regret their sexual history though, so I'm still the odd one. (They all started before me and I was classed as strange because of my pickiness)
