Sympathy sure is a lot easier for those who took out the big loans to get into what had been well-paying fields, only to find the jobs evaporated by the time they graduated and they're back at the Burger King.

I may be deluded by television but would that same incident have had the same impact in America?

Oh my god yes. When innocent people in my area have been shot and killed by the police there has been everything from mass calling for the badge of the cop involved to demanding they get the death penalty.

People don't like it when cops hurt innocent people over here because they think, "My god what if I had been that innocent person?!?!"

I refuse to work more than one job. Flat out I will not give up more of my free time than I wish to over to work. I don't' think the guy making more money than me is necessarily more worthy than me but I sure as hell don't think he is a douche bag out to screw me over either.

Sometimes things will just affect me negatively it happens. All I can do is help work to make it better.

Now that being said I get fucking sick and tired of people whining about "How poor I am" when they have their own apartment, indoor plumbing, all their bills paid and money left over for fun money.

Our ancestors worked their asses off to just survive and we are doing so much better than them that it's ridiculous. Hell we live in a culture where it's now cheaper to not have kids than it is to have kids whereas before you had kids because they were like little employees.

We have it awesome but because people still have to work for a living we hear, "It's so horrible" Now having more than 1 job yeah that would suck. But if I hear "Man this is lame they should pay me the same amount of money to work the weekend and give me M-F off" I might just smack them.
