I just read this, and was so strongly struck by a pair of sentences that I had to tell *somebody.*
I don't intend this thread to be about gay marriage or religion; there are plenty of those already. But if you're making the argument that marriage must be between a man and a woman because that's where children come from, and you want to support that with a biblical example (though it's hardly necessary anyway; we all know about the "birds and bees" already) why pick the *one* family in the whole book where it didn't happen that way?
