Yes. Yes indeed we do. ^^

Its shows include...well...are mostly made up of Top Gear, QI XL, Dragon's Den and Man Vs Food. With some Red Dwarf and other things thrown in. I think it's aiming itself to be a comfortable British slightly-but-not-overtly man channel. And I watch it way too much. The first two programmes I mentioned have both joked that 'there will be endless reruns [of us] on Dave'.

Don't know why, they entertain me while I get to see them make delicious looking things.
I found a place I want to eat at because of Guy Fieri. Charlie Parker's (the one in the Quonset hut that serves horseshoes). It isn't too far away, same with XXX Root Beer (slightly farther away).

I've seen other shows on the food network (Most noteworthy Iron Chef: America) where they have referred to a chef or cook using allot of butter in a dish as using a 'Paula Deen' of butter..

Most off the cookie shows I've seen on there are mostly are trying for flavor and such.. but i'm aware of the other shows that also show healthy eating recipies.

I will say the same thing to other people who complign about a show on TV

Don't like it.. don't watch.. it's as simple as that..

I don't watch her, after that first show. I do however get stuck seeing commercials for her show [or personal appearances occasionally] as I am not fond of diving for the remote to change the channel the instant an annoying commercial pops onscreen.

If I had a choice, I would - but this is a mandated channel playing in our show room. I could get written up for changing the channel.

So, you're incapable of ignoring the TV while it's on?

Don't like, don't watch seems to still apply IMHO, even if turning off the set/changing the channel isn't an option.

If ya'll think she's bad, at least you don't have to come over and eat supper when I make Velveeta hotdish. Velveeta, hambuger, and half a damn thing of sour cream.

I use sour cream on every hotdish I make.

Is there any truth to reports that Paula Deen refuses to make Elvis' famous peanut-butter-and-banana sandwiches because the King's recipe doesn't have enough butter (IIRC, it's either one stick - 1/4 pound - or a full pound, per sandwich)?
