The latest one is only an hour and a half compared to the normal 3 hour over run, turns out the guest host or his house mate, dicked around and they were cut from the show during the break.
I watched the fan loaded missing hour, save for the incidents leading to their Skype disconnect, he was silent for the longest time, even said he got a text from TGS saying he should interact more, the last 15-20 minutes he did interact and it was looking like he got to something he could talk about.
For those not in the know, it is a twitch live stream that gets uploaded a few days later minus any technical glitches and the actual breaks and normally has 3 regulars, Total Biscuit, Dodger and Jesse Cox and some other TGS affiliate.
starts off TB giving a basic intro (and is the ring master) one person talking about what games they have played and takes about half hour out of the run time and is basically one person talking unless someone goes OMG I love that game tangent.
Then there is a lot of news with cross talking, sometimes though the 4th guy is silent, either no knowledge of the topic/game or cant get a word in edgeways but cant or wont take the initiative to butt in.
So the times where they only have the core 3, they are always better, cos they do talk and not just sit there billy no mates.
some of the comments about the removed guest said the 4th should be more interactive and actually work as the audience bridge and ask the stupid questions for the audiences benefit, that would be nice, but if the next few batches of hosts (not the trolling type) are too useless, they should stick to the trio, it cuts down time when you have one less gaming week and topic to discus, but maybe cos its always the same 3 each week bar holidays, they have gelled so much that its possibly hard for anyone even on their 2nd spot to feel included.
