Oh my God. I need a drink for this.

Even beyond the actual info, Trump is just horrible. SHUT UP FOR TWO MINUTES! IT WAS HER TWO MINUTES! SHUT UP!

I tuned in for one question the moderator even said "What is your specific plan for bringing manufacturing back to the states" and instead of answering the question he rambled on about unrelated shit.

I stomached about 10 minutes of it. Once Trump ranted that "Hillary had been fighting Isis her entire life", I had just about enough bullshit.

Because to most people (yes, even most "informed" people), facts don't matter.

Studies have shown we decide first, then rationalize that decision.

And people are emotional, and emotion trumps facts. It's the reason that "The rich need to pay their fair share!" is so effective to some.

No facts are given behind the statement, just "The rich need to pay their fair share!". No one is ever questioned on it, or what "fair share" means.

Why? Because it's an emotional appeal.

Emotion first, then facts. Seriously. Think about it. It's true.

It's why some people have phobias. Like fear of Roller Coasters. The roller coaster itself is generally safe, and thousands upon thousands ride it yearly without incident. Fact.

But there are people who have that phobia of falling out/heights/or whatever, that run contrary to the FACT, so they don't get on.

Well, it certainly isn't what Trump seems to believe it is, which is 0% (cuz he's smart).

He tried to walk it back during the post-debate questions too. He was asked if he had meant to say that it was smart to avoid taxes and he said he hadn't said it.

                          Dude. Yes you did.

Hillary had him against the ropes within the first 15 minutes. God he fell right into the global warming question head first, and all Hillary had to do was use his own words against him. Then he had the balls to lie about even using them in the first place.

He even lied when he was asked about having the sniffles. I would of accepted, "Allergies hit me hard this time of year" or something similar. Instead he BLAMED THE MIC.

                            Lumpy is already defending trump about gotcha questions like(paraphrased);

Why have you not released your tax returns, even though the IRS says your free too. And other candidates under audit have done so?

                            Your opinion on global warming?

Why you kept supporting the birther movement after the president released his long form certificate? With the followup, if your goal was to get him to release it why you keep it up after he done so?

And with each answer he spouted out bullshit and got called out on it, using his own words against him. And of course he denied he said it.

There are going to be no more softball questions for him.

Agreed the problem is when it's a legislator. Nay an entire party's policy to legislate instead of on facts, numbers, or even reality and focus instead on "How people feel"
