Because I can't say at CS what's really on my mind.

That it's ironic the guy got into sooooo much trouble for goofing off and looking up Clinton's info...

    why?

Because I remember when he was running for office... And whenever someone lobbed a strong tax question at him.... within I'd say a week or so, that person's taxes were being scrutinized.

So I figure, anyone who's going to have someone investigated just for asking a tough question?... well then he deserves to be treated the same way.

The Secret Service investigates anyone who shows a strong interest in the personal information of a president or past president. It doesn't mean they're "in trouble" with the Secret Service. It's just a routine procedure.

With that said, the employee in question would be in trouble with their company, since I'm assuming they're not allowed to use their company's resources for personal amusement.

Most companies that deal with customers private data have to sign privacy agreements or go through HIPPA training. This guy railroaded that agreement and thus deserved all the trouble he got into.

o i know we can't do stuff like that to the pres...

i just though it ironic because very often that administration would investigate people (or have them investigated) simply as a retaliation for opposing them.

more specifically i remember the guy who asked bill to name a country who "taxed itself into prosperity"... suddenly found his taxes being investigated.

it's the whole mentality of "how dare you investigate me! but... if you oppose me I'll make sure someone investigates you to shut you up!"
