There are crazies, people with poor shock humor in every group. There is not a black and white divide between any group of people.

You can go into social, psychological, and ecological discussions about occurrences of particular traits of people within groups. Like people who have low tolerance for ambiguity make up a large part of membership within any given cult. But it's not like that is the only trait cult members have, or a trait found in all cult members.
