Reverand Jeremiah Wright says the reason President Obama is no longer talking to him is because "The Jews" won't let him

He also says he won't hear from President Obama until he's either a Lame Duck President or he's in danger of losing the White House after his first 4 years in office.

in a way it's sad...

not that obama feels he can't associate with a reverend that is too controversial for his political standing... but that the reverend feels like singling out another religion to blame for it.

to me it just showcases what's wrong with that reverend.

What gets me is that President Obama listened to the guy for 20 years and didn't know what kind of garbage he spouted. Did he sleep through the sermons or something?

I have a sneaking hunch Obama is actually agnostic and only went to the church for political expediency and for connection purposes. He kept Wright around as long as he behaved himself and was an asset, and kicked his ass to the curb when he started making waves.

Unfortunately, agnostic and atheists are viewed as something as an oddity in this country despite the fact that our numbers are rising.

I've only been to church once to donate blood. I was a little miffed that I wasn't informed of this up front. I was kind of hoping for some psychosomatic rash.
I did attend a couple of years of sunday school as a kid. I stayed awake throughout all the songs.
