That'll be a helluva comeback after all of Obama's opponents constantly went on about how his only experience in politics was as a Illinois Senator.

Being a Governor, however, is more responsibility than being a Senator.

It's hard to take claims that Republicans preach ignorance seriously when there are plenty of things that Democrats preach ignorance about.

The only real difference is that we here care more about the stuff Republicans preach ignorance about, like homosexuality and evolution, as opposed to the crap that Democrats like to spew concerning weed being bad, abstinence only education being good, guns being inherently bad, and a general tendency to fight perceived problems with as much legislation as possible even unto unconstitutionality.

If you make unsubstantiated claims about something, you're part of the same problem a chronic liar *cough* Republicans *cough is.

Don't say that more guns mean more murders.
Don't say that gay marriage harms society.
Don't say that pot smokers will worsen the country.
Don't say that global warming will destroy the earth.
Don't say that Obama isn't a citizen of the United States.
Don't say that there were shooters on the grassy knoll
Unless you have either
A: proof
or
B: a combination of good logic and proof that the other side has no proof. (ie: no one has proof, but my logic is better)

That is not part of the Democratic platform, however, that is preached by many Republicans, including Sarah Palin. She even has her teen mother daughter out extolling the virtues of abstinence-only sex ed, "It didn't work for me, but it will work for you!"

That's a rather eclectic set of claims.
Isn't it obvious that guns make killing a whole lot easier?
Isn't it obvious that excessive global warming would negatively impact the global economy?
