I don't know if any of the NYC families have made it to my city but I do know that several Western NC cities regularly ship of their problem homeless here with one-way bus tickets. It just so happens most homeless services are within 2 blocks of the bus station. In the down town area and north part of downtown you can't traverse the sidewalks because of the bums sleeping, sitting, and what not. They've been known to beg from folks getting money from ATMs. I say give if they have no ties to the local area then they need another ticket someplace else.
Now before I'm drug up and down the ditch for being uncaring, let it be known I'm the largest individual contributor to the food bank that feeds these folks.
