    Just because someone's Republican or Democrat does not automatically make them incompetent.

    Besides, Canada (which the US isn't) has a population of about thirty-three millions, according to a quick google search. The US has a bit over three hundred millions. Are you saying that there's a greater proportion of competent people in Canada than in the US? Alternatively, are you saying that the competent people in the US stay out of politics?

    I'm afraid I cannot consider that everything done by a government in the US is wrong - whether that be the Bush side or the Obama side. Were that the case, no bugger would vote for them.

      A lot of people have been posting "the US gov't is incompetent, they'll just screw it up". Refer to the original post. Fire defense, National defense, law enforcement, and subsidized higher education- are these things failures?
