As most of you are aware, Super Bowl XLIV tomorrow will air a pro-life ad (from the group Focus on the Family) featuring the story of how Tim Tebow's mother was advised by doctors that she should abort her unborn child because the child might be born, eh, with less than perfect health. Well, she chose to have the child, who was her fifth and named him Tim Tebow. Yes, the very same Tim Tebow who became the first sophomore Heisman Trophy winner and two time national champion for the Florida Gators.
Now, here is my beef; why is Big Abortion (Planned Parenthood, NOW, NARAL, etc) so adamit about censoring the ad, when neither they nor anyone else has even SEEN it??? Isn't it unfair to prejudge an ad like that before they even see any of it? This reminds me of a column written by now-retired columnist Kathleen Parker calling for then-VP candidate Sarah Palin to step down as the R's VP candidate A FEW DAYS BEFORE her debate with Joe Biden!! IOW, she was already calling for her to step down before she even had a real chance to "show her stuff" so to speak.
My point is, if Big Abortion wants to still raise a big hoopla about the Tim Tebow ad AFTER seeing it; fine. Or better still, run their own pro-choice rebuttal commercial during the Super Bowl, as they've already posted on YouTube (link is below). But it is grossly unfair to call for it to be pulled without even seeing the ad. I guess Big Abortion is only about "choice" when the choice is to abort. And look at the uproar they put up when a group dares to put up an ad celebrating a woman's choice NOT to abort. Go figure.

EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BIOTItUwvk (the ad itself; you mean Big Abortion raised a big stink over THIS? Give me a break...)
