  • Voter apathy for 2010 election

Not wanting to derail Raps' thread, I decided to start my own. I'm not the only person who feels apathy for voting for the three leading parties; for the Americans, that's Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat. Some people feel so badly about them, that they won't vote at all. Others, like myself, will sling their vote in the direction of one of the other parties. Yet others, worryingly, will be voting for the BNP.

This feeling is due in part to the way that Labour has run the country so far; but a lot of people have little trust in the Tories to fix things. This trend could lead to a hung parliament, as what happened in 1929.

At the time, Britain was on the brink of the Great Depression and the stock market crash, and unemployment was rising following the general strike of 1926. This sounds very familiar. -.-

    Political Parties standing

Either the Green Party or Independance Party will probably get my vote. I voted for the Independance Party last election.
"Oh wow, I can't believe how stupid I used to be and you still are."
