  • Check and mate (political ad sighting)

I won't post too many specifics... mainly because I saw this sign outside of my township and didn't really care too much about the candidates, but I saw the most awesome paring of signs.
First sign "I promise to restore integrity to the office of city attorney"
Second sign "But you are the city attorney..."

    Check and mate.
I don't even think it was his opponent that put up that sign... whoever put it up though should be given a round of applause.

I don't get it. Of course he *is* the city attorney, else how would he be in a position to restore integrity to the office?

To return it, it had to be lost in the first place. Who'd logically lost it?

Oh, I thought it was someone who just got voted in promising that. If he's been there, yeah, nice one.

Oh, I think it's time to make a call to the local news stations before the extra sign gets taken down.

The first slogan was.... ill-advised, to say the least.

Goddamnit. I don't know which side of the aisle that guy's on, but THAT is a nice slogan.
