Just because you haven't encountered it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

It's called Traditionalist Conservatism and it's key principals are just as FArchivist put them. Wikipedia has quite a detailed write-up on it. Anyone choosing conservatism as their political philosophy should have at least a basic working knowledge of it.

Actually, everybody should try to have at least a basic idea about the various political philosophies so that they support the party which advance ideas and concepts they find agreeable, rather than just letting their elders and peers make that decision for them.

Those are indeed the principles of Traditionalist Conservatism. I did not say I was a conservative. I said I was a Republican. I don't always vote for Republicans, but I am a member of the party.

If I said I was a conservative, I apologize for that, I did not mean I was a Traditionalist Conservative. I am closer to a traditional liberal/libertarian.

Getting back on topic, let's look at cause and effect.

Take one mentally unstable person with a deep seated grudge against the political system or even a specific individual. the person doesn't have to actually be unstable either. Just someone with a sheep-type mentality.

Add into that the ranting and raving of a person or people that he may feel some sort of bond to.

Have these rants and raves suggest that some sort of harm should come to that system or individual.

Continue to spew and increase the rhetoric for as long as it takes to light the fire.

        Watch it all burn.

Now let's look back throughout history.

        Christian Crusades
        KKK
        Nazi Germany
        Abortion Clinic Bombings
        Israel vs Palestine
        Oklahoma City
The countless suicide bombers in the Middle East.

so, equal treatment for all as long as they aren't gay seeking marriage equality

As far as the rest of the list, all great rhetoric, the question is how well they actually live up to those standards when it comes to legislation and governence.

Not at all. Those are conservative values as given by the founder of modern conservative politics, Edmund Burke, and as further expanded by the founder of modern American conservative politics, Russell Kirk. See Kirk's The Conservative Mind (1953).

Then you need to be excluded from the Party. There is no room for Goldwater conservatives in the Republican Party. You can be a Traditionalist or a Neo-Conservative, but we're not interested in any of the libertarian shite. That can be left for the Tea Partiers, who shouldn't be called Republican at all, but should instead be part of the Libertarian Party.
