    You're too sweet, Greenday.

I don't think I'd be very popular with either politcal party, though. I am quite the liberal basher, but I also have no tolerance for gay-hate and pro-life pushers, so I'd lose a lot of support from the red team as well.

And as we all know, we can never have a president that isn't flat blue or flat red.

Huckabee is a lot like George W. Bush. A helluva nice guy to sit down and have a beer and some bbq with, but completely and mind-blowingly incompetent to run anything, much less the nation. Huckabee had a terrible track record as AR governor! The only things that he did, to my memory: starting pushing all this healthy school lunch crap after he had gastric bypass surgery (oh, and he's gained all his weight back, good one there, Gov.), passed ARKidsFirst, a state program that provides health care for needy kids, and completely and utterly fucked up the K-12 system by insisting that a lot of schools consolidate "to save money."

Admin, I think most people tend to vote for the more personable (er is that a word?) of the two candidates.

Quite frankly, I think it scared the bejesus out of everyone at the thought of McCain possibly not living an entire term and having the country run by brunette ditz Palin.

If Sarah Palin can almost become vice President, I wouldn't have a hard time believing Donald Trump could make it. Still unlikely, but anything is possible.

I don't think he would make a good prez as I wouldn't trust any CEO to run this country.

will all his financial dealing stand up to complete transparancy?
will his 2 divorces and 3 bankrupties count against him?
will his flip-flopping positions make him a target?
is he doing this just for the publicity?
No yes yes and no. If he runs, the news is going to dig up any dirt they can on him. It's how the news works.

And I don't see why he'd do it for the publicity, he's already super rich and pretty well known.

will the Trump "brand" recognition make a difference? and by brand I mean the hotels, the property, the dolls, the TV show, etc.
YES. Brand recognition is a powerful thing. He already owns the second tallest building in America and the 11th in the world. Not to mention the many other properties he has around the nation.

is this just a slow news season ie. Easter?
Depending on how you look at it (with the royal wedding being the only thing you ever hear).

will this truely make the US Federal government a "slave" to business?
          Yes, if they aren't already.

Yeah, I think a lot of people who were on the fence about McCain were scared off when he picked that twit as his running mate. What was he thinking???

My opinion on this is pretty simple. Donald Trump has his ups and downs, things at which he's done okay and things at which he's failed. But I think that what Donald Trump does best and what Donald Trump does above all else is make publicity for and about Donald Trump. He seems to be one of those "there is no 'good publicity' or 'bad publicity', there is only publicity" types, and I think that - while this Presidential run could be at least partly serious (though I doubt it) - the intended end result of this is getting himself more attention in the press.

Blas, voting for no one is, I think, the worst thing you can do. If you honestly refuse to even consider any candidate that's not Republican, I can't really suggest anything. But at the very least, I'd say, vote for someone. "Don't blame me, I voted for the other guy" is a valid excuse. In my personal opinion - no personal attack intended - "Don't blame me, I didn't vote" isn't. A local chain of trendy shops called Urban Outfitters got in a lot of hot water in the press during the 2004 elections when they attempted to sell a line of clothing featuring the phrase, "Voting is for old people". If I don't vote for SOMEONE, in my opinion I give up all rights to complain about whoever wins.

This has got to be a joke.

Apparently, Donald Trump has moved on to Obama's grades.

I'm starting to think he's just trolling. He can't be serious here.

Having a 3.8 or higher is definitely pretty stupid. Anyone can achieve that.

Of course, this therefore equates to Trump thinking the millions of voters who didn't achieve that grade being stupid.

In a distressing number of cases, he'd be right, but his contempt for the citizenry is astounding.

He needs to just go ahead and get surgery to remove a few ribs so he can finally blow himself. Then he'd just quietly fade out of public view to spend more time with himself.
