If someone has enough money to buy pot, they don't need public assistance. REGARDLESS of who owns the testing company.

Yup. Because they toked at a party where someone else was buying, they do not need any assistance whatsover. Certainly their children, who make up the bulk of welfare recipients, don't need food or shoes. Certainly if they DO need food, they can pony up the money for the test with no guarantee they will ever see said money again.

Not to mention, heroin addicts do not actually need food or housing or antibiotics and in fact would better benefit society by passing out and shitting themselves in the doorway of the local Wa Wa and then being carted off to the emergency room on the public dime, while police are mobilized to look for their children.

Yep, sound fiscal practice here.

- But hey, a fine upstanding politician is making money AND people get to feel self righteous about throwing their money away! It is win/win!

This one comes down to personal responsibility. If a parent truly cares about their children, then they will do what is necessary (ie stay clean) to make sure that they still get assistance for their children... if they aren't willing to do that, well we already have systems in place to protect children from negligent parents.

Did anyone watch the CNN Tea Party Republican debate last night??

I didn't watch the whole thing but here are some interesting highlights (or lowlights depending on how you feel):

- Rick Perry refused to give a straight answer THREE times when Wolf Blitzer asked him if he still felt Social Security was a Ponzi scheme

- Michelle Bachmann said the Immigration policy in place prior to 1965, which determined immigration eligibility based on the percentage of that race who were already living in America (i.e. more Europe immigrants [white people]) was something we should think about going back to.

- Ron Paul got booed (yes you read that right) when he stated that not ALL Muslims were responsible for 9/11

- When Blitzer asked Paul if a 30 year old with no health insurance and a serious medical condition should be allowed to die, a person in the crowd shouted "Yeah!". This was followed with applause.

- One candidate (forget who, I think Santorum) said the Ryan budget plan was a great idea.

Not to mention for a better and more insightful summarization of the debates than any of the major news networks. =p

And yeah, that debate was even more insane than the last one and these are just the debates on the "liberal" news networks so far too. I can't wait to see the Fox News America Fuck Yeah Tea Party Debate.

I'm pretty sure Palin will interrupt it halfway through, but leave before its over. -.-
