I've often wondered if the politicians want to make politics so toxic that: A) Noone with any sort of skills will get into it and B) So turn off the electorate that they wont vote feeling that their vote boils down to the lesser of two evils.

Misogynists are no better than racists, anti-Semites, homophobes or any other flavor of bigot. Trying to reason with a bigot is like trying to smash down a concrete wall by slamming your head against it. It doesn't leave a dent and only gives you a massive headache.

These anti-women talking heads cannot, will not be persuaded to see the other side. They know nothing about how women live or feel, or how our bodies work, and don't want to learn. They don't want to acknowledge that there is more than one side of the story, or that the other side has relevance.

I can totally relate to the poster. How many times have I tried to tell my side of the story only to be met with smug smirks and condescension? How many times have I heard "don't worry your pretty little head" or "what do you expect from a dumb broad?" Why is it so difficult for some men to understand that women are fellow human beings, and our views have just as much merit as any man's?

:sigh: I am not and don't want to be seen as a "Feminazi" or a man-hater, but you just cannot reason with some people.
