The first article has a point. Romney praises himself as being the best person to handle the country's debt but his track record indicates his "expertise" in such matters is to rob the place the blind then run off.
That's OK; the debt is only considered a problem when a Democrat is in office
(I remember hearing... probably Limbaugh, but I'm not sure at this point, going on at length about how we don't need to pay off the debt because we can just grow faster than it does. That was back when it looked like there might be a surplus, and Congress was running all over themselves to find ways to spend it so we wouldn't have to face the horror of owing slightly less than the year before.)

It's funny because you don't see Gates and Buffet acting like these folks. I guess that's the difference between building stuff and looking at stuff as something to extract money from.
