Totally legit response to a photo making fun of Islam.

And speaking of Middle East Problems, why do we let Israel get away with chiding us like we were some sort of colony of theirs?

Could you imagine the look on Netanyahu's face if we were to tell him that Israel needs to solve their own problems and stop expecting us to do it?

He'd have to get his toilet's plumbing refitted for steel bricks in that case, Greenday.

Considering that more than a few nations would have their forces halfway to Israel when that was announced, I wouldn't blame him. He's had a bad habit of pissing off EVERYONE in that region.

If Iran doesn't get the bomb, someone else that is not friendly to Israel eventually will. We can't go invading and bombing every country that potentially could get the bomb. If Iran were hell bent on wiping Israel off the map, they already have chemical weapons and those can be just as nasty as the Bomb. I admire Israel's moxy but I don't think we need another war in the Middle East so soon after we got out of the last one.

Israel has proven that it can take care of itself. They took on 3 countries--Egypt, Jordan, and Syria...and kicked their asses in a mere 6 days

The world's moved on since then. The other countries aren't completely ignorant and backwards. With oil money comes the ability to buy weaponry and training.

I suspect a similar endeavour wouldn't fare as well these days.

I know. Things have changed since then. However, with the unrest in some surrounding areas--Egypt and Syria mainly--it seems they have bigger things to worry about than Israel. Most of their problems have been going on internally. I could be wrong, but I'd be surprised if Israel got attacked. Along those lines, did anyone see the unrest in Iran today? Seems there are protests over that country's currency falling apart. Also today, Turkey has retaliated over deaths caused by Syria shelling a Turkish border town. This doesn't look good, folks.

Rather than judging the reaction of Muslims by todays western standards, think how the catholic church would have reacted 600 years ago.
