  • Celeberity Political Endorsements

After listening to an ad with a celebrity telling us who we should vote for, if you actually need their guidance, I don't want you voting.

Sign of the times. Enough people will go with whatever their favourite celebrity says to make it worthwhile trotting them out every few years.

    Sad, really.

A friend of mine posted a tweet from Tim Tebow that said, "Obama will take the lead tomorrow until all the Republicans get off work." ....How about instead of wasting your time being an ass, you go out and learn how to throw a football?

Greenday, you're a Jets fan, right? You have my sympathies that you have to deal with that twatmunch.

Yeah, there are several actors (Clint Eastwood, Adam Baldwin, Tom Selleck, to name a few) who I like as actors, but who's political views are polar opposite of mine. Just because I like their movies doesn't mean I have to like their poltical views.

The one that baffles me is Kid Rock backing Romney. Romney has said he would have let the auto industry collapse which would have caused Detroit (the aptly named "Motor City") to collapse right along with it. Kid Rock has been actively supporting efforts to get Detroit back into a better state, even going so far as to start up a brewery in the city to promote jobs and stimulate the Detroit economy.

That he would support the one who would have made the choice to effectively let the city he cares for essentially burn to the ground is mystifying.

Just because they're famous, that doesn't automatically mean that their "wisdom" is worth listening to.
