The DoJ has filed suit against a rural county sheriff in North Carolina after a 2 year investigation into blatant discrimination against Latinos.
He is accused of ordering his deputies to single out and arrest anyone perceived to be "Mexican." He is quoted as saying:
It's reported that some of his deputies are gladly following his orders, while others are cooperating with the DoJ.
Naturally, as a Republican, he's blaming it all on the Obama Administration

"If you stop a Mexican, don't write a citation, arrest him."
Naturally, as a Republican, he's blaming it all on the Obama Administration
"We have never discriminated against Spanish speaking persons in any way, shape or form," the sheriff said Tuesday. "The Obama administration has decided to continue to wage war on local law enforcement."
