  • Anthony Weiner

For those who don't know who Anthony Weiner is, Weiner used to be a Congressman. I say used to be because Weiner decided to go online and send out pictures of his wiener. Because nothing is sacred on the internet, the pictures surfaced and he was forced to resign.

Recently, he decided to get back into politics and run for mayor (Of NYC). He was actually doing kind of well in the polls. He was fighting through adversity, having to deal with the awkward questions about sending pics of his junk to women. But Weiner couldn't contain himself and he sent pics of his wiener to another woman. Of course this becomes public knowledge and he starts plummeting in the polls.

But because Weiner is so into self-sabotage, he's not done. Recently, he was at a debate with an opponent and it was held by the AARP. His opponent was 69 years old. While debating, it got heated and at some point, he decided to diss his opponent's age by calling him "Grandpa". I'll tell ya, there's no better way to get the older vote on your side than bashing your opponent's older age.

    Yes, these things are true.

...I don't know what there is to debate, you're basically just telling me things that I know.

His campaign manager bailed out just recently.

Everybody agrees that when your campaign manager bails out, you're essentially toxic.

The man is a self-destructive, womanizing tool.

How does he continue to justify his attempt to run the largest city in the country?

Well, his ego is certainly big enough.

A shame you need a microscope to check out his integrity.

At least you know what he is *before* the election. If he somehow were to win, that could be an advantage while serving.

At least he has an appropriate last name.

Okay, maybe that was uncalled for.

Given that he acts like one, not really.
Good news! Your insurance company says they'll cover you. Unfortunately, they also say it will be with dirt.

When Paddy Pantsdown (Ashdown) was leader of the Lib Dems in the 90's I actually thought he was a better man for saying "Yes OK I had sex with another woman, I don't regret it she was great." or words to that effect, none of this "I did not have a sexual relationship with that woman." from Clinton or the usual evasions and cover ups by the tories.

up until that point they were the throw away vote when Screaming Lord Sutch's monster raving loony party were not running and you could not bring yourself to vote red or blue.

The immature little kid in me cracks up since the guy's name is Weiner. How can people not laugh at that?

I can't be the only person picturing Weiner's opponent for mayor the morning the news broke that Weiner had done it again, that very thing that got him in trouble, in national headlines, and out of office in the first place.

I have no idea what his opponent said publicly. I don't even know his opponent IS. But I picture said opponent waking up to the news something like this....

"What? He did what? REALLY? Seriously? You're not putting me on?

Wow. Just wow. That is about the best news I've had in my entire political career. I know it's 8 am, but break open the scotch and light me a cigar...it's a great morning to be me!"

Seriously, if I were that opponent, I absolutely would be pouring myself a lovely glass of rum (I prefer rum to scotch, but the mental image of him with a good scotch is just too good), and I absolutely would be smoking a fine cigar. And laughing for the first two hours of my day.

Might even send Wiener a thank you card.
