  • Rick Perry seems to be on a rampage

The Texas legislators passed, with BIPARTISAN support, an equal wage bill that backed up, on the state level, Federal laws that allow women to sue for wage discrimination. It seems that major retailers quietly sent letters to Gov. Perry lobbying to kill the bill.

THe Houston Chronicle got a hold of these letters and published them.

If you want to know which way Perry will jump, just look for the money.

Most Republican figures right now are just trying to move so far to the right that they're falling off the cliff.

Perry seems determined not to win the White House. Because if he thinks he won't have to answer for this in 2016, he is living in a dreamworld.

I doubt he's still thinking White House at this point. He Dan Quayled himself last election cycle.

My guess is, he realizes that unless his party displaces him he's not going anywhere so he might as well just do whatever he wants until people get sick of him. And he's already slashed the hell out of the school system to make up for a several billion dollar budget shortfall, so I'm not holding out hope.
