So this Saturday, everyone will be voting in the Australian Federal Election. Tony Abbott is tipped to win because everyone wants a surplus.

Anyway, last night on QnA, Kevin Rudd was fielding questions and someone asked him about same-sex marriage and how he could be for it if he was Christian.

He then argued that being gay isn't a choice and followed that up by arguing that the Bible is for slavery as well, but that's either been outlawed, demonised or similar.

That may be part of it. But I think Tony Abbott will win because Australians are sick of a dysfunctional government.

You realise that Kevin was publicly against gay marriage back in May, right? He will say whatever he thinks will go down with his current audience.

He didn't even get the bible quote right. He attributed a quote from Aristotle to the bible.

Abbott won, which sucks as absolutely badly as it would have had Romney won here last election.

Good news is, my girl is now talking about moving here since we can actually get married and I can sponser her green card as a spouse, rather than me moving there.
