I would understand if Cuba decided to start firing missiles at us if we had plonked a sizeable diaspora in their front yards and given their front yards to this people group, too. Especially if the diaspora started walling off the Cubans and cutting off supplies to them, and looking the other way when militant settlers threw rocks at the Cubans whenever they ventured outside during daylight hours.
While it's not right, I really understand why militancy is thriving there, and Israel is very much complicit in it.

you forgot forbidding them to have schools, speak their own language, or have a right to be free. Israeli soldiers will imprison Palestinian children as young as 8 years old as "terrorists" for merely throwing a small pebble at a soldier. That's after a severe beating from a rifle to "subdue them".

I'd like to point out how incredibly stupid you'd have to be to do this. "Gee, I'm going to throw a rock at my enemy who is well armed and well trained, meanwhile I am not."
