I honestly have no idea what this is going to look like. Star Trek Discovery is set not in the Kelvin Universe it's in Timeline A.

This is the timeline of TOS, TNG, Voyager, and Deep Space Nine.

(Honestly not sure where Enterprise falls since it acknowledges the events of First Contact which was an alteration to the timeline)

This as far as I know is the timeline that Picard will be in. A timeline where Romulus and Remus were destroyed. Where the Romulan Empire is in ashes. I think this could be brilliant follow up to TNG much like Girl Meets World to Boy Meets World. Exploring new ideas and new adventures.

Keep in mind the events of Nemesis. There are so many places they could go with this. What do you want to see?

Its going to be interesting. Since the latest events in the prime timeline was the end of the Dominion war, and the impending fall of the Romulan Empire.
