Always used AtDIelement... Except in my younger angsty days but those were a long time ago. Then it was DarkElement, always liked that skate company.

But never been confused with a female.

I am a guy, almost everything (cept work IM) has me as Wraiths Crono tho I will admit the only time I have been mis-gendered (is that a word?) is in online games as I prefer to make female toons.

I'm mis-gendered all the time on Cracked on the rare occasions that I post, cuz I had a male avatar. I've since changed it to that of a female; wonder if that'll solve it? Probably not. XD

I'm female. Not sure if I've ever been confused for male before, though I try to avoid it anyway by having pretty avatars of my RP characters.

Speaking of, since most of the forums I'm at are RP forums, my username is usually my character name, and I never use the same name twice.

Somehow I knew you were a female before this post.

                    It's the avatar, isn't it?

Nope. The name just read "female" to me.

90% don't care, 9 of the 10% that do think female, leaving the remaining 1% that care correct.

I usually end up chuckling to myself.

                        • I had someone mistake me for a female once on here (I had a good laugh). I've been surprised to discover that some posters here were either male or female.

I'd be more surprised by any who weren't!

                              • I actually am pleased when I get confused for a female, which is quite often...that or gay male. In some of my weirder moods I complain about it, but most of the time it really doesn't bother me. Although I am a straight male..sometimes I do think I should have been born female. Which is something hard to explain. There are a few forums I never say one way or another, and the majority of them think me female. Think it is the name and the writing style. Since its not like I am looking to 'hook up' or anything, don't see any reason to correct the misconception.
