I haven't managed to start watching The Walking Dead, yet, but I keep hearing from everywhere that it's a great show.

If you love The State, you should also love Kids in the Hall. And, back in the day, it was SCTV.

I do indeed love Kids in the Hall as well, although I haven't seen it nearly as recently as The State. I should check to see if there are seasons available on Netflix, I would love to sit down and watch it again.

And I used to watch SCTV on Nick at Nite when I was a kiddo. It's been even longer for that one, but it's a classic!

It's out on DVD already, though I don't know if it's on Netflix or anything like that yet.

I can't believe I forgot about that show! It's a TV show, about Zombies, and it's actually good!

You know, I swear if I let myself I'd never leave the house I'd just watch show after show. LOL, I do stop watching stuff for a week or so at a time if I'm watching stuff on DVD, so I do get out, really!

I bought the Walking Dead series at one of the markets for only $10. You can get DVDs for mad cheap. Only problem is, they don't always work, the quality can be total crap, and there's no refunds. I was on the last episode and it cut out maybe halfway. Luckily I've seen it already.

Pretty solid series. Glad they fired the crew who did that last episode though.

Gargoyles. To this day it's still my favorite animated series, and at the very least in my top 3 favorite series ever...if not right at the top. It was really a breakthrough for an animated kids' show. They touched on a lot of important topics that you'd never see in a kids' series, like drug abuse and gun control. One of the main characters got shot and we see her laying on the floor in a pool of her own blood; how many animated series do that? It really pushed the limits. I love all of the voice actors in it, too.

                  yay lists

                  1. Battlestar Galactica (2004)
                  2. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
                  3. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
                  4. True Blood
                  5. Fullmetal Alchemist

I have a feeling that "A Game of Thrones" will knock something off that list.

I liked watching LA Law a lot, but it was pretty formulaic... Some really good acting, though.

It was pretty groundbreaking for its time.

There was a part-time character called Rosalind Shays who was a total bitch. It was classic when she went to get on the elevator and it...wasn't there.

Sounds ridiculous and it was, but it's stuck with me all these years. Sort of a guilty pleasure.

The best TV series in my opinion are:

Dexter - I just love this show to pieces. Although, each season starts off so horribly slow.

Weeds - Used to be super, super funny, now it's merely enjoyable.

Bones - I *love* this show. Although, I'm also in love with Emily Deschanel. I've gotten someone hooked on it. She used to only watch it with me because I enjoy it, now she watches it without me. And when I make fun of her she still will tell me she doesn't like it. She loves it.

Desperate Housewives - I love shenanigans.

30 Rock - Tina Fey is a fucking genius and Alec Baldwin is brilliant in this show. I love, love, love it!!

                          Those are my picks.

Best TV series: 24. I don't care about the politics (and don't appreciate conservative talk show hosts using it as an arguement for their propaghanda). But as a pure action thriller, it kicks ass. And it all takes place in a day! Sure, there have been some wall bangers and it's not perfect, but no other show has grabbed me like this. Sadly last year was their last season.

                            Other shows.

Chuck: Just one of those shows with a likable cast and neat premise that always manages to entertain.

Human Target: Again, good characters, and fantastic action all around. This is almost on par with 24, and in some ways, it's even better since it doesn't take itself as seriously. Yeah, the romance they're pushing I could do without, but I still hope to see this show renewed.

Big Bang Theory: Always manages to get a laugh out of me, and is still just as funny when rewatched. BAZINGA!!

I can't watch that show and it has nothing to do with the show itself. It's just that for some reason that I can't even begin to fathom, every time I see Sheldon on the screen, I want to strangle him.

Yeah, Sheldon is one of those people you just want to punch. People like that in real life are the most rage inducing people you'll ever meet. Yet, the way Jim Parsons plays him, and the way the show handles it is just so funny that I can't help but laugh. It helps that I don't have to actually deal with him.
