Gregory Peck. "To Kill a Mockingbird," "Cape Fear," and "The Omen." He was also pretty good in "MacArthur"

Ooooh, yes. Gregory Peck was a great actor.

I'm surprised I didn't think of him earlier, but I'll add Patrick Stewart to the list.

If I may add something about Sir Patrick Stewart...I know most people know him as Picard, but he's had a lengthy career, including a stint with the Royal Shakespeare Company. He's much more than Star Trek. (He's hilarious as the head of the CIA on American Dad)

Sir Stewart also does a quite notable amount of voice work for video games.

              He does? Didn't know that.

And yeah he'll always be Picard to me ...I know he's done way more but that is what I was exposed to.

I was pleasantly surprised when I played the demo of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow to find that he was the narrator He has an amazing speaking voice.

                  And don't forget...Professor Charles Xavier.

Though Sir Ian McKellen gets around, too. Magneto and Gandalf only two roles in a very illustrious career.

Clint Eastwood. Gene Wilder. Henry Fonda was one of my most favorites.

And I dunno if Brad Pitt counts...I feel like he's paid enough dues he ought to. I didn't care for him for the longest time but every time I see him anything he's just freaking amazing. I got to give the guy props.

                      Morgan Freeman. Jon Voight

And Katherine "The Great" Hepburn is like my all time favorite. And I don't really know if she belongs on this list or not, but Oprah Winfrey is a freaking AMAZING actress.

Well, beyond doing the voice work for Picard and Professor X, he's also done Forgotten Realms, was a major character at the start of Oblivion, and he's the narrator for the Lego Universe MMO.

I wouldn't have been familiar with those ones ...I really have only seen him in TNG. I do love his voice though and could see where he would be a great narrator for just about anything.

This reminds me of another great one...I think he's been around long enough to qualify as classic. He almost never does the lead roles in things but he's been all over....Peter Coyote. Now he's got a voice to die for and does a lot of audio books and narrations and things......I could listen to him all day.

                            THANK YOU!

Him and David Tennant were awesome in Hamlet. I still need to see the whole thing, but what I saw was plain great.
