Very bad timing

One thing that's been in the news about a week ago is the announcement that researchers have gone over the recordings of police radio from the Kennedy shooting, and have determined conclusively that there was no fourth shot, and therefore no second gunman (with 3 shots being accounted for as definitely fired by Oswald). Within days of this hitting the media, a certain bastion of journalistic integrity (cough, cough), the National Enquirer, has as its headline that there is proof of a second gunman.

Seriously, how long are they going to keep rehashing the Kennedy assasination? Considering it was 50 years ago, even if there were others involved, with each passing year it becomes less likely that they could be brought to justice (i.e. dying of old age).

well, considering that it was only last year that people who thought Hitler actually survived World War Two acknowledged that he probably is dead by now...

I was like that with Elvis, I had no idea how old he was when he died and it was only when they released the 75th birthday compilation (probably no different from the Hit Story box set that was originally sold individually) that I thought "hmm maybe I was too hasty saying 'If he wasn't dead he would be dead by now'."

People will believe whatever conspiracy theory suits thier needs. Hell, there are still people convinced that Roosevelt allowed Pearl Harbor to be bombed. that conspiracy fails one key point....it was the Japanese that bombed us and he wanted a war with Germany. Had Hitler done the wise thing and said, "You guys bombed them..you deal with them...", Roosevelt would have had a very hard time to convince people that Germany was the real enemy.

They'll keep rehashing it as long as it's profitable. Plenty of money to be made off the Kennedy assassinations...and probably some fuel for related conspiracies as well. Look at all the theories that popped up after 9/11. People will see "coincidences" and start connecting dots that simply don't exist.

yes it is satire. A spoof on all of those conspiracy things because they all do the same things.

For instance Titanic ends with ic and iceberg begins with ic....coincidence? I think not....
