Had to post this after I saw it on one of those monthly news bloopers reels. It's a couple of months old, but I found it interesting. A US Congresswoman is talking about the NSA scandal and is interrupted for what the station very important breaking news. They interrupted the congresswoman for updates on Justin Bieber's arrest.

I can understand (but obviously not condone) it if the TV station in question were politically biased in the direction of "NSA is an agent of the U.S. government, and therefore can do no wrong - anyone who objects is obviously a mutant commie traitor". In that case, this would simply be a way of minimizing the severity of the NSA's actions.
