Yes, but has his extreme views caused people to go out and beat up Christians on a large scale? On a large enough scale that a lot of Christians were afraid to go outside?

The business was giving her an accommodation to allow her to wear her headdress, she doesn't want to give any kind of accommodation, so, she is not like Rosa Parks.

"You can wear this as long as no one can see you" is an acceptable accommodation?

Yes, I randomly go out beating Christians and vandalizing churches and randomly vandalizing Christians cars because they had fish stickers on the back

(Which, for the record, gay people are still beaten on a semi-regular basis by Christians, the Pride center is regularly vandalized, including this morning, and I can't tell you how many times my car has been keyed because of the equality stickers on the back... actually, yes I can, 5 times).

Fred Phelps et al may have made Christianity unpopular, but I've yet to see anyone fear for their lives because they were Christian (I have know three Muslims who have told me that they have to lie and say that they converted to Christianity when they moved to the United States to keep people from attacking them).

If they are trying to convey a certain atmoshpere and her dress code violation hurts the atmosphere then yes.

I think these people would be able to refute you. So would these. This church would agree, as would this one, and look, another one. Just because it doesn't happen in your state or where you live doesn't mean it never occurs. Anti-homosexual crimes almost never happen here, but I don't refute that it happens to you, Smiley.

Oh, and I merely posed the question because I wondered if Draggar read your posts. They're so inspirational.

Indeed. There are many people of different religions that are proscuted for that. This includes Christians, Jewish, Buddism, etc.

People get killed for being the wrong race.

People get killed for wearing the wrong color SHIRT in some cities.

Hate crime exists everywhere. For anything. No real defense about it, except to love yourself and have your friends love you too. My friends love me (Sometimes).

How are smiley's posts inspirational? They're usually nothing but venom filled diatribes that are always negative toward heterosexuals. If it is good news toward homosexuals, he's mad it isn't in Utah and heterosexuals aren't doing their part. If it is bad anywhere, he just knows it is going to happen in Utah and heterosexuals suck.

So, what is so inspirational about that?

The bit about this that puzzles menus how much notice did she give Disney?

By my reading of it, Disney had made arrangemtns to get her an hijab that met the dress code requiremtns so they were obviously willing to accommodate her beliefs. If she went to them a month before then they could have got a dress code one ready for her. As that wasn't the case it suggests to me that she just turned up in one in which case I don't think she can complain.

I think too many people are reading it as not allowed a hijab at work rather than not allowed a non-dress-code-compliant hijab at work.

The story goes she asked Disney if she could wear one but never got an answer and wore one anyways.

So on the one hand Disney sucks for not clearing it up, but she still wore something that violates the dress code without permission. I think letting her wear it in the back is a fine compromise

Disney's sending her to the back seems to me like Disney is trying to say, "Nope! No Muslims here!" As I said earlier, unless they also regulate every other form of personal style, including haircuts, facial hair, crosses, yarmulkes, tattoos, all jewelry including wedding bands, etc, then Disney has no right to refuse her request to do her job wearing clothing dictated by her religion.

I used to work for Disneyland. You sign an acknowledgement of the dress code when you hire in. It tells you how to look from haircut, hair colors, jewelry, makeup, stockings and shoes. You are not allowed to be "on-stage" unless you are following that dress code.

She agreed to the rules when she hired on, and now she's protesting them. I feel that's a little late in the game to complain. They gave her the option of working out of sight, which would put her with a good 2/3 of the people in the park. I don't think she has grounds. Disney has had it's riduculous dress code since it opened, and people continue to want to work there. It's their right as a private business. You also (or at least when I worked there) as a girl have to be between a size 4 and 16, size 18 for Main Street. But they provide the costumes, and they have the people willing to put up with it, so they can do it.

Disney is famous for its strick dress codes. It wouldn't suprise me if they kept track of everything you mentioned plus more. Remember this is the same company that had company underwear at one point.
