An upturn in demonic posession

My problem with the whole possession thing is that only demons in keeping with the Catholic mythos posess Catholics, ditto for every other religion that reports posessions and exorcisms. If these were REAL demons, it'd be the same all around. Not to mention athiests and agnostics would get posessed as well.

More likely any reported possessions are mental issues manifested or hallucinations/delusions that take bits of info from the memory and subconscious, or they're faking for attention. Both happen, I'm sure.
