Judge jails DV victim -- because she won't testify against abuser

I think the issue is basically that, without her testimony, the entire process is a massive waste of time, since it was the only evidence against her husband. Should she be jailed? I doubt it. However, the judge was legitimately irritated at her. It WAS legitimately contempt of court, since technically, she was stripping her husband of one of the more important due process rights. Further, her justification for not testifying (she was anxious over appearing in court) was not, actually, a legitimate excuse (she wasn't, for example, in fear for her life, from what the article said- she was scared of confronting her husband, even in a safe courtroom)
