Frankly, I'm not sure it matters. The classes seem to genuinely be about when it's appropriate to use lethal force- not just "this is how to shoot someone" but "these are the situations when it is legal to carry a concealed weapon, and these are the situations where it is legal to use it." and "these are the rules for using a gun safely"- which seems to be badly needed in the US regardless of if you are LGBT or not.
