That's awful. I can't imagine anyone would try this more than once. Seriously, we only ingested very small amounts of the stuff, heavily diluted with water. What we ended up with was stomach pain and terrible nausea. And some 35+ years later, I remember it vividly.

My cousin to this day will sometimes say "Remember that time you and me drank the mouthwash?"

    It was harsh.

Found out from one of the Darwin Awards books. It's used as an auto-erotic device. The person in question sticks it up their anus and starts pumping. The rush of air stimulates said person. The problem is often enough people want to extend the feeling by not allowing the air to escape, which after successive pumping causes the intestines to rupture.

When I worked for Zellers we used to find empties of those mini bottles of mouthwash all the time. We called them "shooters".

On our Aboriginal reservations, because alcohol is illegal, they've turned to other sources for it, and mouthwash is now incredibly popular (Methylated spirits has been clamped down on by the government). So, apparently, there'll be large sales of the super-sized mouthwash bottles happening regularly during the week.

If you check the alcohol %, you'll see why!
I am highly confused by this. Saying Aborigine makes me think you're Australian but saying alcohol is illegal makes me think it must be a Muslim country with sharia.

There are a fair few aboriginal centres and areas that are dry zones because of the widespread alcohol abuse, same reason that OPEL fuel is used in the areasto prevent petrol sniffing, basically you can't have alcohol in those places.
