Age and Race are something allot more solid then Gender. There are MANY examples why gender is allot more fluid on a biological, a genetic level. Not much with Age or Race.

There are people with XY chromosomes and are born with female genitalia. There are people with XX chromosomes and are born with male genitalia. Chromosomes =/= gender

1 + 2) People like clean labels to things, but in reality sexuality exists in a spectrum. Also Gender Identity does not equal Sexual Identity.

3) yes, very much so. It is so interesting to look at. Especially schizophrenics brains.

4) I am assuming you are referring to situations where people have a condition like those listed from the previous statement. But have a nonstandard gender and sexual identity. This is handled on a case by case basis and is a very complicated subject.
