I'm pretty sure at 15, he knew EXACTLY he was going into. I don't know any 15 year old that doesn't know pregnancy may be a result of sex. 12 is plenty young enough to be persuaded that nothing will happen if they do some fake form of contraception.Violence has resolved more conflicts than anything else. The contrary opinion that violence doesn't solve anything is merely wishful thinking at its worst. - Starship Troopers

This is one instance where I've got to agree with kibbles, 100%.
The boy is only 15. He is still a child himself. Unless the girl says he physically forced her to do it, no one has any claim or complaint against the boy. Who I may add, is also going to be dealing with the result of his actions with his young girlfriend....
Two kids had consensual sex. End of story.
The blame lies with the mother for allowing them to share a bedroom and be alone together. What do you think two uneducated, hormonal kids are going to do?
As soon as the father brought this to the attention of authorities, perhaps the children should have been taken out of the mother's custody. OR at the *least*, the kids should have been educated about birth control."Children are our future" -LaceNeilSinger

I'm not blaming the girl, not at all, but the parents and even the 15 year old should know better.

My sex drive kicked in when I was 10.
Either way, there is a HUGE difference between 12 and 15. Many areas have laws against having sex with someone under 13. They are far stricter than simply having sex with someone under 18.

Usually if kids are having sex at that age, they were introduced to it earlier by someone else doing things they ought not to have.

How did a 25 year old not realize the girl was 13? I mean, unless she was very unusually advanced in her development, it's fairly obvious when a girl is a GIRL and not a young woman, yet....."Children are our future" -LaceNeilSinger
