    No argument there, but it still happens and is going to keep happening, and its kind of hard to do away with. You're a known associate of Jamal the Serial Killer. How can the non-mind-reading police know you're not in on it, and in the course of their investigation they may find things that link you to the crimes, however innoccuos. So stop hanging out with Jamal the Serial Killer and you'll be all set.

      No, that doesn't make you anything. If you were in the vehicle during his DUIs, or one of his traffic offenses, and you did nothing to prohibit his actions or nothing to stop him, then YES. You have committed the crime. You're in the vehicle, allowing this to happen.

      Association laws work on an Active offense. Histories don't mean anything, but if you were there for it, and you either had a hand in it, or did nothing to stop it, you can be charged with association or conspiracy.
